Quick Start Guide - Set Up Click Fraud Protection
Launch ClickFortify for your first website and Google Ads account in under 30 minutes.
Get ClickFortify protecting your ads in just a few steps.
Before You Begin
You will need:
- Access to your Google Ads account (or MCC account)
- One website where you can add a script
- Account owner access in ClickFortify
Step 1: Create Your Space
After signing up and verifying your email, you'll be taken to the onboarding flow. Complete your business profile with the following information:
- Space Name — A name for your workspace (e.g., your company name)
- Business Description — Brief description of your business
- Business Category — Select your industry category
- Emergency Contact Email — Where critical alerts will be sent
- Monthly Advertising Budget — Your approximate monthly ad spend

Step 2: Connect Google Ads
Click Authorize Google Ads to connect your Google Ads account. This allows ClickFortify to:
- Read your campaign data
- Apply IP exclusions automatically
- Track click sources

You'll need admin access to your Google Ads account to complete the OAuth connection.
Step 3: Select the Ad Account
Choose the ad account you want to protect. Optional toggles:
- Set tracking template (recommended)
- Set custom audience
Step 4: Install Tracking
Configure at least:
- Base protection script — add to all pages
- Conversion script — add to success/thank-you pages
Step 5: Validate Live Data
Open these pages after traffic starts:
- Dashboard — see real-time metrics
- Clicks — review individual click records
- Page Notices — check for any setup issues
Step 6: Set Initial Protection Policy
Set strategy and action mode in Protection:

You're now protected! Monitor your dashboard for the first few days to understand your traffic patterns.
