General
What is click fraud?
Invalid or fake clicks on your pay-per-click ads — bots, click farms, competitor sabotage, repeat clickers — that cost you money without delivering real prospects. See What is click fraud? for the full picture.
How does ClickFortify detect fraud?
A combination of network signals (IP, VPN, proxy, data-center detection), device fingerprinting, and behavioral analysis (bounce patterns, fast interactions, multi-target clicking). See How ClickFortify protects you.
Does ClickFortify work with all ad platforms?
ClickFortify integrates directly with Google Ads today. Other platforms are on the roadmap — contact sales for current platform support.
Setup
How long does setup take?
The wizard is 5 steps and takes ~10–15 minutes if you have your Google Ads login and site access ready. See Onboarding overview.
Do I need a developer?
Most setup is no-code through the wizard. The one moment a developer can help is the tracking-snippet install — though Google Tag Manager bypasses that need entirely. The install pages have a "hand this to a developer" tab if you need it. See Install tracking.
Will ClickFortify slow down my website?
The tracking snippet is small and loads asynchronously, so it won't block your page rendering. If page-speed measurement is part of your workflow, run a before/after check after install to confirm impact is within your tolerance.
Protection
What happens when fraud is detected?
Depends on your Action Mode: Observe logs only, Warn adds bad IPs to exclusion lists, Strict blocks immediately. See Protection settings for the decision and Launch protection for the recommended week-one configuration.
Can I whitelist legitimate traffic?
Yes. Manual entries you trust go in the Blacklist page (the Blacklist contains both block entries and is the right place to manage manual overrides). For per-account or per-campaign control of which signals fire, use Manual mode to disable specific checks.
What if ClickFortify flags real customers?
Lower the sensitivity in Automatic mode by one level, or switch to Manual mode and turn off the specific check that's misfiring. The dashboard's Click Traffic view shows exactly which signal flagged each click.
How accurate is detection?
It depends on your sensitivity level and your traffic. Real-world false-positive rates vary by industry — the right way to measure yours is the Weekly workflow Tuesday audit, which walks through filtering Status = Bad and confirming the calls match what you'd flag manually.
Billing
Is there a free trial?
Yes — a 7-day trial with no payment method required. You pick a plan during the wizard and the plan auto-starts after the trial unless you cancel. See Choose a plan.
How is pricing calculated?
Tiered by monthly ad spend, with monthly / quarterly (10% off) / yearly (20% off) billing intervals. Exact prices show live in the wizard; the docs don't quote them because they update over time.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel from Space Settings → Billing. If you cancel during the 7-day trial, you're not charged.
