Step 2: Set Up Your Workspace

Create your ClickFortify space by completing your business profile — name, category, budget, and contact details.

After signing up and verifying your email, the first screen in the onboarding wizard asks you to set up your space — your main workspace in ClickFortify.

What Is a Space?

A space is your top-level container. Everything else lives inside it:

  • Your business profile
  • Team members and permissions
  • Connected Google Ads accounts
  • Protected websites and protection settings

Complete the Business Profile

Fill in the following fields to create your space:

  • Space Name — Your company or client workspace name (e.g., "Acme Corp" or "Client: BigBrand")
  • Business Description — A short description of what your business does
  • Business Category — Select your closest industry category (Standard or Agency)
  • Emergency Contact Email — Where critical fraud alerts will be sent
  • Monthly Advertising Budget — Your approximate monthly Google Ads spend (minimum $500)

Tips for a Clean Setup

  • Brands: Use your legal or operating business name as the space name
  • Agencies: Create one space per client unless your workflow requires a shared workspace
  • Contact email: Use a real, monitored inbox — not a temporary address. This is where critical alerts go
  • Budget accuracy: Be honest with the budget estimate. It helps ClickFortify calibrate protection sensitivity and recommend the right plan later

You can update all of these fields later in Space Settings. Don't worry about getting everything perfect on the first pass.
